Dr. Aretoula Fullam
We are very pleased to present Dr. Aretoula Fullam; Silva International’s featured instructor of the month from Ridgewood, NJ and one of Silva International’s most successful instructors.
Dr. Aretoula Fullam is an internationally recognized Health Psychologist who has done extensive research and studies in human development, personality and health. Dr. Fullam received her Ph.D., from Rutgers University, holding professorship in the Department of Psychology, accepted a position at Harvard Medical School & Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston as a Research Fellow in Medicine. Dr. Fullam has trained in Clinical Mind/Body Medicine with Herbert Benson, MD and holds degrees in Mind/Body Medicine, Spirituality and Healing in Medicine and Meditation and Psychotherapy. She served as a Clinical Instructor and Research Fellow Scientist at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School focusing her research on disabilities.
Her expertise in all the Silva Method Programs combined with her expertise in Psychology and Medicine, offers Dr. Fullam a leading position, expertise and uniqueness enabling her to help thousands of people who attend her seminars; they learn pragmatic and practical ways to leave behind past negative programming and embrace their new empowered and intuitive self. Her recent study on the efficacy of Dynamic Meditation in Multiple Sclerosis showed significant results in psychological and emotional variables, reduction of symptoms, improved mobility, sleep, assertiveness, stress management, and quality of life.
Dr. Fullam, a member of APA and Psi Chi, is a frequently invited speaker at community events, societies, health meetings, metaphysical societies, business trainings and professional advancement and motivation training. Dr. Fullam has been interviewed, presented and featured in newspapers, radio programs and live TV shows. In 2007, Dr. Fullam received the highly prestigious award as a hero, in “Honoring Our Heroes,” in recognition of her dedicated service to community, incredible impact on her patient’s lives and well being and her continued excellence, compassion and outstanding achievement, serving as an example and inspiration to people whose lives she touches and who make a difference in their own lives from her seminars and workshops.
