HOW SCIENCE DISCOVERED SILVA METHOD
The whole thing started with Jose Silva’s research on mind and human potential. He single-handedly initiated a groundbreaking research that was to change the outlook of millions of people. Even his wife didn’t believe him until she saw the results of this research with her own eyes.
Later some of his friends heard about his unique research topic, got attracted towards it and helped him in various ways.
It is certain that any groundbreaking work has to go through many obstacles and challenges to reach its final success. And it hasn’t been easy for Silva either. By chance, Silva met the Director of the Mind Science Foundation, San Antonio, Taxes – Dr. J. W. Hahn. He got attracted to Silva’s work and continued to collaborate with Silva.
Came to the attention of scientists:
Through Dr. Hahn, the news of this research spread to different parts of the country. Many scientists were interested to know more about it. Indeed the research found a relevance. And Dr. Hahn played a leading role in bringing it to the public .Various scientists and professors like Dr. Fitz, Dr. Puryear, Dr. Robert Barns, Dr. Richard Makenzie , Dr. Fred , got interested and met Mr. Silva and also put valuable association.
A helpful visit:
Now it became a hot topic of the time. The HOD of Psychology at Wayland Baptist University, Dr. N. E. West inspected Silva’s findings. He was impressed and said that this was the first time he had seen such a valid scientific research work on ESP.
Dr. West invited Silva to present a lecture to the psychology students at the college. The visit was successful.
Hearing from Dr. West, his friend Dord Fitz, an art professor, invited Silva to speak to his art students. Many students expressed interest and more than 80 students participated in the Silva Method course. Gradually, the Silva Method spread to different parts of the country and abroad, by which millions of people have benefited.
Impressive results:
Dr. Hahn conducted a large survey to prove the validity of Silva’s research to the Mind Science Foundation. Survey forms were sent to approximately 10,000 Silva graduates, of which over 1,100 completed and returned the forms with their feedback. The numbers were staggering and the result was convincing.
Not only were they getting the results they expected when they joined the Silva Course, but
through Silva method, they were solving problems they never dreamt possible .
To substantiate Silva’s claims, Dr. Hahn conducted another survey, in which all people who had attended a basic lecture on the Silva Method , reported their experiences. Silva’s argument is further substantiated because all the people who were involved with the Silva method were all satisfied.
Dr. Han’s initiatives led to the study of the Silva Method at various universities, to learn how we can consciously control our different brain waves. The professors as well as everyone were surprised by the results, because it was impossible to believe that self-controlled brain waves could be controlled by any special method.

Later Dr. Han, Dr. Fred and other scientists experimented with the Silva method, which proved that it was possible to control brain waves externally.
Based on several years of research and its results, and of course analyzing both psychological and physiological aspects, Dr. Fred came to the conclusion that it was possible to control brain waves externally using the Silva Method.
Now, the control over Alpha rhythm is associated with relaxation of mind and body, reduction of stress, intuition success and many other benefits. And Silva Method works on that particular region. Many persons including students using this technique, report that they have a particular sensation of deep relaxation and they are able to control their brain waves.
