HOW TO PRACTICE MEDITATION CONSISTENTLY?
We often get stuck in our busy lives. A monotonous routine disrupts the rhythm of our inner peace. Our daily tension, our constant running, tireless work, various surrounding problems somewhere make our mind restless, anxious and stressful.
This is when we admit depression. Even our little failure creates deep depression in our mind. Our confidence is broken, everything becomes unbearable to us, even the slightest obstacle seems like a mountain. This is exactly the time when we need to meditate consistently.
But what should be done at this moment, in what way we can regain the lively pace of our life?
Now many people may have heard that meditation consistently can be a unique way to get out of depression or stress. But does it have a specific approach?
Yes, there is and many people applying it in their lives often say that they have gained temporary results through meditation or even noticed some improvement in themselves. But how to permanently enjoy the results?
Now if I had to answer this question then I would say that consistency is the first and foremost requirement in any form of meditation.
This consistency is what drives us forward. But how can we continue to meditate consistently so that we can strengthen our concentration, stability, vision and creativity? In today’s article, we will discuss how we can meditate consistently.
How do we maintain consistency in meditation?
Meditation Consistently is a simple scientific process through which we can relax our body, mind and brain as well as connect with our inner being
During meditation, be it concentration meditation or mindfulness meditation, how can we reap the benefits of meditation if we do not practice it continuously? Yes, we need consistency more than continuity during meditation consistently.
The meditation we are talking about is not passive deep meditation, but dynamic meditation that utilizes our alpha brain waves predominantly.
Do the below steps :-
- The first thing one needs to do to enter this alpha brain wave state is – close your eyes. The moment you close your eyes, your brain frequency begins to relax. When you are not using your vision or sight, you can easily relax, slow down your brain frequency. Because the only physical sense we have that operates through our beta brain waves is the focused sense of sight and when you close your eyes and focus your vision in daydreaming, your beta brain waves start to slow down.
- If you close your eyes in this state and completely isolate yourself from the outside world, you will find that you are able to slow down your brain frequency a bit more.
- Now take deep breath as well as relax your body, calm yourself and you will easily enter your alpha state.
- When you enter your alpha state you can do as you please. Along with your desired results it will calm your inner being which you need throughout the day. Now if you can do it then it can be said that you are doing it meditation consistently.
- If you do it with a purpose in mind, whether it’s to solve a problem, to get an idea, like using Mirror the Mind – you’re doing near your mind.
After you are done with above steps...
- do mirror the mind, give it your all and then visualize your problem. Now erase it and picture the outcome in your mind and believe that you can make it happen or expect it to happen in near future.
- Step into the outcome image and experience how wonderful to have achieved that outcome. Feel it and connect with that feeling of achievement.
- Take a few minutes or seconds during the day and experience the visual outcome, do that many times a day or any time that particular project comes to mind. By doing this you can make the result or that achievement faster.
If you can visualise your goal or outcome beforehand and experience it in your mind, you can easily achieve it. And when you visualise an outcome in your mind it becomes much easier to make it come true. So allow your body, mind and brain to experience your success, feel it already happen and you will begin to own your achievement.
Now you are able to create those outcomes yourself. So if we really have a problem to overcome, it will not be seen as a problem. It is not a problem to start and finish a course or achieve a goal by just practicing the dynamic way that the Silva Method teaches you. And if you can go through the whole process of mirroring the mind meditation at least once a day, be it 30 minutes or 15 minutes, and you can access your outcome image and realize it and you can experience it constantly day after day, then you are doing mirror the mind Again.
So, as you approach your final goal, you want practicing mirror the mind again and again. For example, let’s say you want to lose 30 kg, and if you believe that you can do it, and if you imagine losing 5 kg a month without thinking about it completely, then it will be easier to achieve that goal. So by following this Mirror of the Mind technique one can strengthen one’s desire, faith and expectancy.
Hopefully this article will be helpful in how we can bring consistency to our meditation. Consistency is how we can achieve any of our goals through it.
